Recommended Application Procedure
For best bonding results:
- Ensure surfaces are clean and free from dust, grease, rust, and loose particles.
- Cut the cartridge nozzle to the desired bead size.
- Apply adhesive in continuous beads or strips to the bonding surface.
- Press the material firmly into position.
- Use a rubber hammer or temporary tape if additional support is required.
- The adhesive reaches serviceable strength in approximately 12 hours and optimal bonding strength in about 72 hours.
- Removing Excess Adhesive
- Uncured adhesive can be removed with solvents such as thinner or banana oil.
- Once fully cured, excess adhesive can be removed by scraping.
