Recommended Application Procedure

For best bonding results:

1. Cut the pipe squarely and remove burrs and dirt.

2. Ensure the pipe and fitting are clean and dry.

3. Remove surface gloss from the pipe using primer solvent if required.

4. Apply:

   • A heavy coat of adhesive to the outside of the pipe

   • A light coat inside the fitting

   • Another coat on the pipe surface

5. Immediately insert the pipe into the fitting while twisting slightly until it reaches the socket bottom.

6. Hold the joint firmly for a few seconds to prevent push-back.

7. Wipe away excess adhesive from the joint.

Pressure Testing

• Newly bonded joints should be left for 24 hours before pressure testing.

• Allow longer curing time in cold weather conditions.
