DLG Liquid PUR (Polyurethane Reactive) Adhesive is a high-performance, single-component glue that chemically reacts with moisture in the air and the wood to form a permanent, cross-linked bond.

Unlike standard PVA glues that simply dry, PUR undergoes an irreversible curing process, resulting in superior strength, heat resistance, and complete water resistance. It is the adhesive of choice for architectural joinery and premium furniture.

How to Use PUR for Best Results in Kenya

• Surface Prep: Surfaces must be clean, dust-free, and well-mated.

• Moisture Content: PUR requires moisture to cure. For very dry timber (below 8% MC) or non-porous materials, lightly mist one surface with water before applying glue to the other.

• Application: Apply a thin bead to one surface. Over-application can lead to excessive foaming.

• Clamping: The joint must be clamped firmly within the 15-minute open time. Maintain pressure for at least 60-90 minutes. Full strength is achieved in 24 hours.
